CREATE A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE AND; EATING HABIT


That's right! I once saw a quote which stated that the six best doctors are; water, rest, diet, sunshine, exercise, and air. Truth be told, when you combine these in their right proportions they lead to good health. Not only would you be less prone to ill-health but you will have developed a more healthy lifestyle for the year 2018. Your skin will glow, you'd be stronger and fit, your metabolism will be normal and many more. But remember, this has to be done with a conscious effort, that's why I emphasized that it be added to your year planners. And just as I had shown you in my previous post on ‘goal setting' on how to set goals,you will need to develop a valid strategy on how you will create a healthy lifestyle and eating habit!

CREATE ENOUGH TIME FOR SLEEP
Some people will say, “What???!!! Does she know we've got bills to pay and we gotta work?" Yeah! Work work work, that's all over the place. I get that. Nevertheless, research has shown that people who have adequate rest usually perform better both mentally and physically, than those who do not.


Keynote; An average adult requires at least 7 to 8 hours of rest (sleep) daily, for optimum performance.
Adequate rest tends to ease off anxiety, so try this in 2018. Instead of sleeping with headphones on, try playing soft peaceful music on your stereos and just doze off...

STOP THINKING NEGATIVE THOUGHTS ABOUT YOURSELF

This is for you, yes! You reading this post. You are unique and you are special. You are not perfect but you are of great worth and importance. I mean do you not think you have a part, a role to play in the universe? If you weren't so important, you probably wouldn't be existing.
I have discovered that many times we are our own biggest critics. We criticize ourselves even more badly than others would. And I only have one word for you, STOP!!
Stop telling yourself you are not good enough. Stop telling yourself that you cannot.
Let me borrow the words of an American ex-president, ‘YES, YOU CAN!' You can be who you wanna be, say what you wanna say and do what you wanna do.
